Akagera National Park, located in the eastern part of Rwanda along the border with Tanzania, is the country’s largest national park and one of its most diverse ecosystems. The park is named after the Akagera River, which flows along its eastern boundary and feeds into a network of lakes, including Lake Ihema, the second-largest lake in Rwanda.
